Awakened
by the Word. . .

you are on the Tulsa Men of Christ database, you will receive
a daily scripture Monday thru Friday. We believe one of the
most important disciplines of a growing Christian is to feed
on God’s Word. Awakened by the Word is scripture, out of the
NIV translation, with no commentary or interpretation. “For
the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged
sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints
and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12. We hope to keep God’s Word in front of believers
every day, helping guide their thoughts and actions. To be
